Passed the CCDA exam today. It was cake! To be honest, it was kind of a joke- taking the CCDA after the CCNP. Anyway, I think the CCDP would probably have a lot of good information in it, but in order to stay with my timeline for the CCIE, I have to move straight to the written. Sometime during the journey I might knock the CCDP/Security+ out (for work), but I’m not necessarily making plans..just leaving the door open.
Tonight I continue my reading of TCP/IP Vol I. I’m going through RIPv2/RIPng at the moment. I’m mostly just making sure I remember all the details at this point. I labbed a little bit of the RIP stuff with my rack rental credits, but they were pretty trivial. I don’t see much of a need to lab too much until I get into EIGRP/OSPF. Anyway, I got a lot to read tonight at work.!
