In the past few weeks, I have been back and forth with the idea of releasing several free audio clips geared towards cisco material. While I do not plan on them to be certification-centric, they will be geared at a certain “level”. I’d say the majority of them will be at upper CCNA/lower CCNP level, but there are no boundaries here. The idea behind them is not to teach you a test, but rather give you the knowledge..and if you choose to take the exam and pass, then great! If not, hopefully you will at least walk away with a better understanding of the technologies highlighted in the series.
SGTccie Cadence series
The name of the series, “cadence”, refers to the rhythmic ‘songs’ sang commonly while on runs in various branches of the armed services. To the general public, this is more commonly seen in movies depicting “boot camp” or “basic training” scenes. This is meant to encompass any audio releases made by myself in reference to cisco/networking. Yes, they will be 100% free.
I don’t know how many will be released at this point, and only have several ideas. I can tell you that the first one released will be a class on Spanning-Tree, or 802.1D. It will be geared mostly at the theory, as many people struggle with spanning-tree theory. I also don’t know the timeline they’ll be released on, but I expect that if the first one goes over well, to release subsequent ones every month..based on demand.
I look forward to getting the first one up. Again, these are going to be completely free, which means they involve a signifigant time investment from myself, so the schedule is subject to change, as my CCIE studies take priority!
Look for the first one sometime in May!
Any thoughts???
